Play Time!

By the pictures, you can tell Caleb is smiling more and more each day. Along with the grins he has shown more interest in his toys. Of all the toys on his new jumperoo, Caleb is particularly fond of the yellow monkey spending a lot of time staring at it. He stares and even takes a swing or two at anything hanging down near his face or feet. He now sits in his highchair, not to eat, but to join us for dinner. Of course Daddy can usually make Caleb smile as he listens intently to the sound of Matt's voice. He is making a lot more sounds which can put a smile on anyone's face. He seems to be equally impressed with his bubble blowing ability. Sunday was our first day of nice weather. We took advantage of it and had our first walk around the block.

Two Month Pictures

Our two month pictures turned out so well, but it helps when you start with such a cute little guy. Caleb is growing. At the doctor yesterday we confirmed he is 11 pounds 12 1/2 oz. and 23 1/4 inches long already growing 2 inches and 3lbs. He is in the 75/80th percentile for his age and healthy. After this excitement were the shots. He took his oral very well being the nurse's best patient of the day. It must be all that practice with Milycon.

Some of Caleb's poses are hard to capture, but not this one. He always has up his fists looking at them. He's in for such a wonderful surprise when he finds out they can do so much more than go in his mouth and look back at him.

Lauren's Visit

We were so pleased to have Ann Marie & Lauren visit. Lauren was impressed with Baron's fetching ability and Baron enjoyed having someone a little bit bigger who could throw his squeaky. Caleb was woke up for company but gave out quickly after they left. Other pictures were caught showing him well coordinated with his infant lounger. Matt is still looking for the one that comes in his size.

Snow to Celebrate 8 Weeks

We woke up to a little snow this morning. There was just enough powder to dust the deck, but Baron was the one most interested in it. I'm sure our friends and family in Michigan, Nebraska and New York are giggling, but it was good enough to mark Caleb reaching eight weeks and of course close one local school.

Welcome Kaylee Beth

Caleb met a friend who also decided to take her time getting here. Kaylee Elizabeth was born Sunday night out- weighing Caleb at 9lbs. 8oz. Their mommies spent months comparing notes on a daily basis and are so glad both of God's blessings are here and healthy.

More New Faces

Thursday, another person came to meet Caleb. Aunt Bec's heart was quickly melted upon meeting her nephew. We might have to start checking her luggage when she leaves as she would gladly take him home.

In Clarksville Caleb found himself in the arms of many, however, Aunt Carol was the first. He brought smiles to many on a not so happy day. He was obviously quite tired after so much excitement. He has enjoyed listening to Matt play the guitar which seen here was also successful in putting him to sleep.

Of course no family gathering would be complete without a family picture. Out of about 50 pictures and several breaks for baby bouncing we managed to get a few where everyone was happy and smiling.

Meeting New Faces

Meeting family was a wonderful way to start the new year. Christy's grandmother Gigi and Aunt Dottee visited from Helena and North Carolina. Before our visitors we took a first dunk in the tub. Time flew as we took pictures, compared stories of when Gigi had babies, talked about favorite books, read a new one, and went out for dinner. With a little of Daddy's touch (laps of driving and music), Matt joined us a little later with a sleeping Caleb. It was very special they drove so far to see us.
