Veggie Tales

Last Saturday was a busy one. After Caleb's soccer game, we changed in the car and headed to see Veggie Tales in concert. The kids enjoyed seeing the show as well as Kaylee Beth and Mason while Clayton went with Daddy to help him with some audio recording. It was so fun to watch the kids sing along with the familiar songs.

Don't let the tired faces fool you. These four had a great time!

Clayton's Dedication

October 13, 2013 was Clayton's baby dedication at church. It was a sweet time promising to guide and nurture this precious gift.

It was also a wonderful time to remember those same commitments made 3 and 5 years ago. It seems like they were just this small. Caleb promised to bring his baby brother to church and teach him all he knows about God.
In true Emma form, she took advantage of her moment on stage with or without shoes.

Picking Pumpkins

A week ago we stopped to get pumpkins after church.

There were lots to choose from but this one was definitely my favorite!

Clayton 6 Weeks Old

Clayton is just the sweetest little guy. Big sister Emma had some sweet hugs for him.
He gets those little hands "boxing gloves" moving.

Clayton is a Month Old!

I can't believe it is already time to start our monthly pictures. Clayton Matthew is truly the sweetest little guy.
He has kept all of his dark brown hair and seems to always have those tiny hands near his face. He makes a funny little snoring coo when he sleeps. He has reached 8 pounds 9 ounces and is eating every 3-4 hours with an occasional longer stretch. He is so content to ride with Mommy snuggled in the sling.

Big brother was the photographer on these pictures and quite proud of them.

Found Ourselves in Eureka

The last Friday in September was a gorgeous day, Caleb was out of school, and I didn't have to attend inservice. We loaded the van and headed on an "adventure" which is code for Mommy and Daddy didn't know or have a plan. We ended up spending the day in Eureka Springs.

We enjoyed walking through the streets and had lunch at a tea room.

Emma Katherine was tickled pink to have a real tea party. Everything is better when served in a teacup. We will definitely be coming here the next time we find ourselves in Eureka.

Of course before the day began, Clayton had a bath and big sister was a big help.
