Bring on the Blooms

 This weekend Matt got outside to plant some flowers with his two best assistants. Despite terrible allergies, Caleb had fun being outside most of the weekend.

 In true Emma fashion...some excitement with a lot of sass!

 With that cute face, she could be the next salesman for Cozy Coup. 

I know our crew is looking forward to more beautiful afternoons outside.

20 Weeks

This week marked the half way point until we meet Clayton Matthew. It's amazing how quickly the weeks are passing. He is measuring 11 oz. and still due September 3rd. 

Caleb went to the ultrasound with us this week. Despite being tired from a big day at school, he was excited for Matt point out  everything he was seeing. The doctor was excited to see Caleb since the last time was from inside the  carseat. He did talk to the nurses about playing legos with Clayton once he has arrived.

 It's so sweet to see how excited they are getting. We'll have another ultrasound in about 10 weeks to monitor my placental separation, but nothing to be concerned about now as we just watch mommy grow bigger and continue to feel his movement which I noticed at 16 weeks.

 Of course Emma had a few smiles herself that were as cheery and bright as her dress.

Yea for Spring!

 I love just sitting in the grass and watching these two play. They have really started to have fun playing together.

 What a great laugh!

 These two loved running the fence watching our neighbor mow the grass. Pretty cute peeping toms!

 The next day I glanced out the window and saw them playing in the sandbox. So sweet!

 I do hope pants-less mowing doesn't become a neighborhood trend!

 Yes we're still wearing a Christmas PJ shirt and yes a Razorback jersey matches everything. Caleb was pretty proud when he looked at the numbers on the scale exclaiming "I'm three fours!" when he saw 44.4 lbs. Of course Miss 29.8 lbs had to have her turn too. I was happy for another reason...that at 20 weeks no more than 10 have been added for me!

1st Spring Soccer Game

 Caleb had a great start to his soccer season. He played so hard and enjoyed cheering on his team. 

 He was pretty excited about the three goals he scored!

Gorgeous Day for the Gardens

 

Before the Beardsleys left town, we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine at the Botanical Gardens.

 Caleb always has an explanation for everything. And when you can't read the label, just make it up!

 The train is always a favorite spot with the boys no matter what age!

Of course a good day for the gardens is also a good day for bike riding. Emma Katherine is starting to get the hang of her scooter. I'm sure it absolutely helps when your outfit matches your scooter!
