Being the second child I am not surprised at all how quickly the time flies just want to cherish each and every moment. At two months Emma Kate will coo back and forth with us often sounding like a "hi" and laughs with an extremely big smile for such a little face. Her "talking" is best just after she's eaten, but then aren't we all at our happiest then?
She still has a ways to go in this little dress but it will be here before I know it!
This week she began grasping and holding onto something very small. Many times it is the pacifier holder as she pulls it out and quickly becomes upset at what she has done. She has started using her legs to push and briefly support herself and even scoot herself out of her pants while sleeping. At her two month checkup she was 11lbs 2oz. (50th percentile) and 21.65 inches tall (20th percentile). She loves to be outside and we have taken advantage of any cool moment to watch Caleb play ball in the yard.
