Sunday Morning Sweetness

Sometimes these to have an extra minute Sunday mornings before I take them to church. Emma Katherine loves for me to put him down on the floor so she can see him better.

I can't imagine our house without this precious little smile. She may be small but sure fills up this house with laughter.

The Silver Lining

Despite the circumstances, I found so many silver lining blessings on my trip to Jonesboro. I celebrated the life of an amazing man who has impacted and shaped my life tremendously,
and my dad got to enjoy time with these two cutie pies,
My sister and I talked for hours. With only Clayton and Madison, there was lots of time for that.
We surprised family who were only expecting Rachael but got to meet Clayton as well.

I enjoyed some sweet time with this little guy.

Sunday felt like summer as I headed to church for a rare treat to worship with my sister and her family.
I was reminded of His promises amid unexplainable circumstances as Gracie read to me from 1 Corinthians on our drive to church(a blessing in itself)...Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

Gorgeous NWA

One Saturday we drove 71 highway to Alma and back. We enjoyed naps in the quiet car ride as a chance to talk, stopped for some BBQ and shopping in Alma, and took in the impressive view from Artist's Point along the way. I'm so glad we had a chance to enjoy the leaves before they fell.

Fall on Campus

Campus in the fall is so beautiful. Saturday morning between smiling for family pictures and a home football game we headed for a short walk on campus. Playing in the colorful leaves was a great reward for working hard for all those smiles.

I knew these two would enjoy throwing leaves and they sure did.

Kid at heart? You bet! I love throwing them too!

Light the Night for Halloween

For Halloween, we went with the football theme. Clayton was snuggled in his crocheted football cocoon. Emma Katherine was the most spirited little cheerleader and Caleb was a player complete with real catcher's gloves and eye black. Matt played the familiar role of referee and I was a fan with hands too full for anything but the ball.
I had no trouble convincing these guys to go along with the theme. They were so excited especially when I showed them Clayton's costume.

Clayton was so precious as the football and with the temperatures suddenly dropping I'm sure he appreciated how warm it was.

The Bernets were so sweet to host community fun at their house complete with hot chocolate and Charlie Brown outside for us all to see.
