Labor Day

After a fun but busy weekend with the opening football game, baby shower for a sweet friend, and the usual busy Sunday, we relaxed and enjoyed Labor Day.
We awoke to cool temperatures and beautiful sunshine. We went for a drive out to War Eagle Mill which is one place we seem to never make it.

Caleb wasn't really into posing for pictures except as he as throwing rocks into the water. He was quite impressed with the water and had a grand time with this.

Sweet cuddles for Mommy!

Emma kisses...so sweet!
Before we left, Emma Katherine was all smiles and happy to pose for some pictures.

Swinging into September

After a busy Saturday attending the football game and our usual busy Sunday morning at church, we enjoyed some afternoon time outside.

Caleb's smile just warms my heart.

I love watching Caleb try to play with Emma. So much fun!

Woo Pig Sooie!

We geared up for the first football game by attending the Friday night pep rally. Caleb loved watching the band, but became shy when asked to lead the band with the director. Emma Katherine was anything but shy. She quickly learned how to raise her hands to call the hogs and so please everyone smiled when she did.

We went fully equipped to cheer.

Matt and Emma Katherine stayed up on the hill to watch, but I took Caleb down in the middle of the pep rally fun. He loved being so close to Big Red but still didn't want to give him a high five.
Saturday's game was fun and Caleb looked like he should be on the field with his black out stickers.

Her little shirt may have said rookie on the back, but she knew just what to do when the music played.
