Football and Fun in Dallas

We went to the Texas A&M game again this year and again had a good time.

Uncle Bob joined the excitement!

Emma's bib says "Blessing" which was very accurate. She was awake long enough for pictures and then slept through most of the game in the Bjorn. In fact her only fussy time the entire trip was when others were trying to eat. She wasn't going to have any of that!
Caleb enjoyed the game calling the hogs, hopping from lap to lap, eating Daddy's nachos, and playing with his GO HOGS sign.

Excited about the victory

As Caleb was "watching" baby sister, he felt it necessary to bring her all important things which included pompoms of course. Yes there is a baby under there and she is very happy. It's the thought, right?

Caleb was impressed with the accommodations especially the fountain.

3 Months Old

At three months old, Emma Kate is growing. Emma is laughing all the time, wants you looking at her, and tries to coo. Her head support is good looking as though she's trying to break out of the car seat a lot of the time.
Emma Kate is quite impressed with her hands and is getting them to her mouth more. She also likes to touch the back of her head with her right hand. Matt thinks she is going to be a curl twirler like me that is if she has curls.

Arkansas vs Bama Game

Last weekend was the Arkansas v.s. Bama game. French toast and friends was a great way to get the day started.

We tailgated with friends we never get to see.
It was a great game (except for the last few minutes) and a lot of fun.
Friday night we went to the Pep Rally after a little Catfish Hole.

Caleb sang the fight song with everyone else, had a perfect view from Daddy's shoulders,

enjoyed the drum line before the pep rally,
and Emma cheered from her seat.

A Few Smilies

A few smilies caught recently...
Caleb is so sweet to Emma.
He loves to hold her hand and sing to her as he is doing here.
Sticking out her tongue!
Matt's email with this picture said, "Caleb decided to skip all the easy, rudimentary stuff and dive right into some Debussy."
Emma Kate is still loving her changing table especially with a cool breeze. One of these days she's actually going to figure out how to get that fringe, but for now it is pretty cute watching her try. Matt's the one to catch so many of these precious moments while I'm at work. He does such a great job!

My two favorite guys, Mat and Matt Jr. ...I mean Caleb
It's always a good day when Dawn comes to town and not too bad for an end of the night picture of all the kiddos.
Happy Girl!
Caleb found a new spot to hide but had to ham it up once found.

Back to School Take Two

Caleb has started another year of Kids Day Out. It was a "take two" not only because he and I were starting back at the same time, but also because he got sick on the actual first day and had to wait.

His teachers comment what a sweet and smart boy he is. It's pretty cute just to listen to him talk which he is doing much more these days. He knows his colors with pretty good accuracy and loves to point out the letters he sees in everything from books to t-shirts. He has so much to say but still needs some interpreting from mom and dad. He continually says "circle ja-bebb." Ja-bebb is how his name comes out and he thinks a C is round like a circle so it makes perfect sense to him. His favorite show to watch is Word World and it's so cute to watch him sing along. At night he sometimes insists that he reads the story and I think this takes the cake for cutest time to hear him talk as his sweet little voice describes everything he sees.

Such a big boy!
