Sweet Smiles

These two have the sweetest smiles especially when they smile at the same time! Our picture taking was a little few and far between towards the beginning of the year. Despite me heading to bed early with 1st trimester sleepiness and down for a week with the flu, these two didn't miss a beat. It was such a reminder that your days don't have to include fabulous Pinterest ideas or supermom energy to be precious. I love these two and can't wait to add another sweet smile to the mix.

I couldn't stage anything that cute if I tried!

Yes that is a tutu underneath Emma Katherine's dress and yes she wore it to church. This girl is all princess and loves her tutus.
When I finally rejoined the living during my last afternoon home with the flu, Caleb and I made homemade play doh. He was pretty proud of his forming his name.

Soon to be Family of 5

We were blessed beyond belief to announce the future arrival of baby number three last month. Matthew designed this adorable picture which we used to share our news with many. It was fun to watch lightbulb moments as they put the equation together.
The kids learned the news pretty early so that they could be the ones to tell everyone. The best part about sharing the news has been that the news is truly theirs to tell. They each opened a book and received big brother and sister shirts. Caleb added a pin so his said, "Big brother again."

Neither really understood that night but it has definitely sunk in since then.

Emma Katherine is so excited about being the big sister and announces it to everyone. Grandma was delighted to see her new shirt and learn the big news.

Meeting Madison

Since I had the Friday before President's Day off, the three of us headed to Cabot. With me getting sick coupled with lots of sniffles from my two, we hadn't gotten to go meet Miss Madison.
Caleb was especially sweet with her. They sat on the couch together for quite some time.

Lovings from Emma were a little quicker. A quick word and pat then she was off to find something in Gracie's room.

After a little shopping, which consisted of taking turns sitting in the car, we stopped to feed ducks.

Caleb got some hugs before we left

and somehow we got everyone to smile before it was time to come home.
We love this little girl and so excited to watch all of these little ones grow together. She will have lots of help figuring everything out...maybe a little too much help!

Gymback Fun

We really enjoy attending the Razorback gymnastics meets. Emma Katherine can be as loud as she wants, Caleb gets to see all of the mascots, and the girls are really fun to watch. Being on a Friday night, it also makes a nice end to my week.

Happy New Year 2013

Since my dad was staying with us for the week, we spent New Year's Eve at home. The kids had fun in their PJs and watched the ball drop...at least the on the east coast!

Being a princes is such hard work!

We started the new year with big smiles and a big bow of course! 2012 was full of so many wonderful memories and we are looking forward to many more in 2013.

Gregson Gathering

Just before the New Year, we enjoyed time with some of my family. It was such a great chance to catch up with people we rarely get to see.
Of course, Emma Katherine enjoyed all the extra attention.

And there was definitely a house full of silliness!
