Yee Haw Roundup Fun

Each year we reward students (and teachers) who endure a solid week of testing with a fun themed event. This year's roundup definitely lived up to the expectation. I had a few visitors that afternoon that enjoyed the festivities too!
The photo booth was a big hit especially with all of the props.
I think Emma's "sassy-tails" helped bring out her personality!

Lassoing proved to be more difficult than it looked. One of our teacher's miniature show horses was a big hit too.

I am blessed to work with these people everyday. It is a joy to be apart of a team who is making such a difference in the lives of kiddos and having fun too!

Preschool Performance

Before leaving for Caleb's preschool program we snapped a few pictures. The smiles were as sweet as the beautiful roses out front.

 25 weeks pregnant with Clayton
Emma Katherine was very excited to go to Caleb's performance too.
Caleb's preschool program was bittersweet. I am so thankful for such a wonderful preschool and teachers who have poured into Caleb. Mrs. Trisha and Mrs. Leigh Ann will always hold a special place in our hearts. He has grown and learned so much. He still hasn't figured out that "Mommy's school" is becoming his school, but I know this very adaptable kiddo will do very well.

Although in different classes, Caleb is always excited to see his buddy Tyler.

The following day was Emma Katherine's last day of Kids Day Out at FUMC. This big girl is starting preschool and will have no problem transitioning as she was already walking into Caleb's room like she owned the place. The biggest obstacle will be convincing her to potty train as she is adamantly against it.
Emma will continue to attend Harbor each Wednesday this summer because she loves going so much. She has to wear her backpack to school like a big girl.

Preschool Paint Crew

Last Wednesday Caleb had the UBC Preschool Paint Crew took the stage to sing praises to God for all He'll Do Do Do Do Do! Of course it was precious and Caleb knew all of his words.

He has loved choir and mission friends this year. We have prayed for many "misha-warries" this year as they talk about them each Wednesday! I am so thankful for those who pour into our children each week.

Mother's Day Weekend

Friday I joined Caleb at school for Muffins for Mom. He was excited to bring home the bag he made me at school along with the questions answered about me. According to Caleb I am 40 years old (not a good way to start ;) always say clean up, is prettiest when I got married to daddy, likes to play with us and walk with us, and is not very funny because he's the funny one. I love that boy! Later that day beautiful flowers arrived at school from sweet babies including Clayton.
Saturday was too soggy to play a soccer game but perfect for the farmer's market and picture taking on the square.

I am a very blessed Mommy!

My Sweetie Pies!

We have really noticed Emma Katherine's talking increase. She never ceases to amaze us. Her funniest comment lately is "Caleb don't touch me, that is ridiculous!"
I'm sure this was caught midsong since she seems to always be singing.
Those green eyes just melt my heart!

At 24 weeks, Clayton is quite active. I think he's just trying hard to make his presence known and make sure he isn't forgotten. We're definitely past the point of people wondering if I'm pregnant and asking when I'm due. Protonix is again my best friend for heartburn. Bedding is bought for this little guy and this summer the nursery will exchange pink for blue. The kids continue to talk to him and give him lots of kisses. I can't wait for them to feel him kick for the first time.
