Mother's Day

On Mother's Day we spent the evening at Wilson Park.

Caleb thought he was quite cute in my new hat.

Emma was showing off her soon to be tooth.

We had never been to this part of the park and Caleb had fun running all around especially up in the castle.

Since Matt was working on Sunday we celebrated the next day. Caleb kept wanting to tell me happy birthday but eventually caught on.

Big Wheel

Caleb was quite excited when this was delivered Mother's Day weekend. After three and a half years of buying diapers, I had enough points for a big wheel. Maybe Caleb has been holding out on potty training because he knew this is what the future held for him. He still needs to grow into it a bit but is all smiles about it which makes me all smiles even about having two in diapers.
Emma watched all of the excitement around her.

Emma added clapping to her repertoire.

A couple of the many faces of Caleb.

Emma Katherine at 10 months

Emma Katherine continues to grow in size and personality. Just when you think her smile can't get any bigger...
it does.
Just like this picture Caleb is never too far behind. He really tries to play with her.
And she eats up every bit of his attention.

Although not pulling up on her own, Emma loves to be standing. She is 16 pounds and does figure out how to maneuver around a little. She has mastered her pincher grasp and puts away puffs quickly. This week her lower left tooth peeked through. She waited until 10 months for teeth just like her brother and mommy.
Emma will get up on her knees and manage crawling a couple times before returning to her scoot. She continues to say mama and bye bye with a wave. This week she also started clapping and boy is she proud as soon as you join her.
She truly is a smiley girl and it is quite contagious around here.
Caleb has been quite the little talker lately. He can say the Pledge of Allegiance and sing Jesus Loves Me. Today we went to the farker marker (farmer's market), ate assple paus (applesauce), and topped off the evening with him reading the story tonight. I just love listen to him!

Choo Choo! Here comes Thomas!

Last Friday we had a fun afternoon and evening with Cindy and KB. They were so excited to go see Thomas the Train.
They were excited about their fun seats and tickets, but most of all excited to be together.
After lots of anticipation, the show lived up to the expectation. Caleb was so in awe he could barely clap. What a fun night!

Egg-cellent Time!

Although the rain canceled our church egg hunt and any hopes for our own outdoors, we still managed to have fun with the eggs. The great part about four kiddos age 3 and under is that they are tickled with everything. After a yummy dinner, we let the kiddos hunt eggs. This actually consisted of Caleb showing the girls how it's done, Elena unsure about putting them in the basket, Abby excited to show off what she found, and Emma sitting in the middle of it all watching.
