Sweetest Present Under the Tree

This little bundle of joy couldn't have looked any sweeter than asleep beneath the Christmas tree.

Sound asleep or eyes wide open, he is just so precious.

 Big brother Caleb definitely agrees.

Clayton loved looking at the lights so he had several chances. It was one reason to leave the tree up a little longer this year too.

Christmas

Grandma and Emma Katherine rolled up their sleeves to make some cookies.

 Open up Daddy!
Clayton couldn't have looked sweeter in his little Christmas outfit, the same that Caleb wore his first Christmas.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was full of excitement. Emma Katherine spotted her princess dress which she put on right away and wore the entire morning.
Caleb thought his giant Razorback flag was super cool. Matt has since added a pole so he can run through the yard just like they do after a Razorback touchdown.
The plasma car has been making the rounds up and down the hallway.
The puppet theater has been a big hit. Caleb really wanted a "puppet magic show" and princess Emma enjoyed the initial performance.
Clayton was such a cutie pie enjoying much of the excitement from his swing.
In true royal style, Emma Katherine presented each present this way.
Clayton must have been a good boy in his first few months because he received this precious stool.
Grandma was here for all of the excitement.
Caleb is pretty proud of his new Bible.

Caleb was sweet to show Clayton his new toy. I'm sure he'll get lots of entertainment with the lights and music.

Pictures with Santa

Photos by Tish came to our school as took the sweetest pictures of the kiddos.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve after the candlelight service the Beardsleys joined us for cookie decorating.

It was so fun to have them here for Christmas.

We didn't learn until later that this family photo would be growing by one in August.
We all had fun decorating cookies.

They turned out great and the piping bags made us all feel like master pastry chefs.

That night we put on Christmas pajamas and read a Christmas book. After reading a Christmas book each night of December, Emma decided she was going to read the story and she nailed it!
