'He is risen...He is risen indeed' were the first words spoken today. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter. We have returned just in time to celebrate our first Easter here at home from a wonderful trip to New York to see family. To start our traditions, we made resurrection eggs. This year Caleb was more interested in the plastic green grass. We also made Easter cookies. When finished, the inside of the cookies were sort of empty just like the tomb. We wanted to make sure they would work before Caleb was old enough to be disappointed just in case they didn't turn out or recipe tweaking was needed. We took pictures before church and snapped one as he was playing at church.
Caleb wakes up with such a big smile on his face.
The Binns joined us for the basketball game last weekend. Byron and Caleb didn't make it through the game but enjoyed a little pregame fun. Saint Patrick's Day was Monday. In case you can't quite read his drool-covered sticker it says 'I'm not lucky...I'm blessed!'
