Much to Celebrate

Even though it felt like we got a late start on summer from making up so many snow days, June has still been full of fun. We celebrated birthdays and births. Caleb helped Wade celebrate at his 50th block party by swinging from his ankles amid the fun live music. This was after after showing Elena how to tackle presents during her 2nd birthday party at Boingo bounce.

We also celebrated our friend William's birthday. Caleb splashed in the water, filled his hair with green sand, and covered his face with red icing.Emma Katherine was a little bit more lady like spending time in the wagon with her friend Payton but let her voice be heard about wanting to try some new foods. Our dear friends had a special addition to their family. Mason Reese arrived June 7 weighing 8lbs 12 oz and was 20 and 3/4 inches long. We can't wait to watch him grow and know he'll be playing with the other three in a blink of an eye.
With summer here Matt's much busier with work. However he still makes time for Caleb and Emma Katherine. Here is his little Mac girl in training. It won't be long before it's hard to tell who is training whom.
You can usually find the boys in the front yard playing a number of different sports. Here it happened to be golf.
Caleb always keeps us laughing. One morning he walked in my door dressed in backpack, undies, and work boots (on the wrong foot) and taking diligent notes about something.
Of course we have spent many days at the pool.
This little bundle of joy has done pretty well in the water but is just as content to watch from the side. Our days are definitely longer so when the kiddos give out they really give out! I hope Emma Katherine rests because her big day coming this Saturday!
