Changing as Fast as the Seasons

No amount of books could slow these two down. They are growing so fast.
Emma wore her snowman dress to celebrate the snow.
By the next weekend we were back to sunshine and a day of stripes. It wasn't planned but I would definitely say this was a good case of the stripes!

Swinging outside I noticed just how big this girl is getting. At 32 months, Emma Katherine is the most precious little girl. Her volume is always up, greets everyone she meets, and sings at the top of her lungs. Her favorites are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Jesus Loves Me. Her hair has filled in to the point of actually needing a clip to keep the hair out of her eyes instead of me pulling out all the tricks to get anything to stay. She loves her princesses and tutus, but wants nothing to do with the potty. She's not a "big girl" she's a "big sister" which must trump all. At night she loves to pray for her friends and read "Bible" which is the verse painted on the wall. Her hugs and "mootches" are so sweet and the hilarious things she says keeps us laughing. She weighs 27 lbs which is around the 20th percentile.

Caleb is becoming such a big boy. Caleb weighs 45 lbs which is around the 70th percentile. His imagination comes alive as he explains his newest creation with legos. He's having to learn how things he sees others doing, even his friends, isn't always acceptable. Caleb is excited about soccer season starting soon. He is a rough and tough boy but still is such a sweetheart especially to his mommy. He is also such a good big brother taking care of Emma and letting her play with him.
