We started our Thanksgiving break with a house full. When discussing family traditions in class, Gracie talked about going to Aunt Christy's house. It would be easy to recognize it as a convenient opportunity to get together making use of extra days off school during the Thanksgiving break or we can choose to view it as a family tradition. I like the way she thinks!
