Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day was sunny but cold. We snapped a few pictures on our way to church. You can see some of my present (flowers) behind me. There was no "Mommy" said (not for lack of me trying) but lots of sighing back and forth. Caleb wants desperately to be on the move. He rolled completely over last week. It is fun to watch his trial and error figuring out how to scoot on his belly. He is trying to bring the Caterpillar back in style and nothing is cuter than that tush in the air.

After a beautiful Saturday of planting flowers, we received bad storms but no tornadoes at our house. Caleb is showing off some of the hail from the yard.

We are proud to announce we have a confirmed sit. Yesterday morning he tried to balance himself. Yesterday before Bible study he held his position for quite some time and pulled up his hands. I don't know who is more proud, Caleb or his parents.

Cutie-Pi

We caught lots of fun expressions one afternoon in bed.

This was the first time he fell asleep after wearing himself out playing.
Caleb is enjoying his toys but nothing is more fascinating than Baron. Baron passing by or singing can stop a cry immediately. He is also Caleb's incentive to try to move as he tries hard to touch Baron. Good thing Baron will do anything for a treat!

Spring At Last, Spring At Last

We've enjoyed the warmer weather and have welcomed any opportunity to be outside. Matt put up a big umbrella we found on our trip to New York. It got the baby/daddy stamp of approval.
Razorfest was Saturday...otherwise known as an excuse to be outside in the sunshine and see Caleb dressed head to toe Razorback. Byron joined us Sat. night for a little PJ fun. Wednesday was Kathryn's 22nd birthday. Can't go wrong with the best Mexican food in town and a big sombrero!

Ride For the Cure

Saturday was a beautiful day as we participated in Race For the Cure at the Naturals' new stadium. He enjoyed his ride and is showing off his medal.

We have one lone tulip in the bed out front. As with most things, it didn't taste as good as it looked.

Tuesday Caleb had a good report from his doctor who commented on how strong he is supporting himself. He is officially 14 lbs. 6 oz (25th percentile) and 25 1/2 inches long (75th percentile). Despite constant drooling, he said there were no signs of teeth. Caleb loves his voice more and more each day. His favorite is a motorboat sound where he spits everywhere. He is not quite ready to sing with Daddy in SMA but working hard on his vocal skills.

We made our first trip to Little Rock as the entire family was there.

Caleb let Jeff practice his holding skills in preparation of little Ethan. He should be here anytime and we can't wait to meet him.

First Family Photo Shoot

Today Caleb is 20 weeks, 14 1/2 lbs. and more fun each day.
We love the sound of his laugh and so does he.
