Thanksgiving in Helena

This year we spent Thanksgiving in Helena. The house was perfectly packed with people we never get to see. Julian and Dottee came from NC; Jim Moriah, Emily, and Sarah came from Memphis; Tim, Rachael, and Gracie were in from Cabot/NE; and even my Great Aunt Jane was able to come. We had much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

This picture makes me laugh each time I look at it!

Not only did we continue to celebrate Caleb's birthday but Uncle Jim's too.It was great to spend time with my sister and we very cooperative for a picture unlike my children! We are so excited they will be closer now living in AR again.

This was the first time for Emma Kate to meet many new faces including my grandmother, Gigi.Gracie has been wanting a baby sister. We decided that Emma could be Gracie's cousin and sister. Problem solved!
Caleb was quite the entertainer showing off his knowledge of the entire list U of A marching band songs. We heard the National Anthem a lot this weekend with full Caleb salute. Before we headed off for our trip, we spent a little time with Grandma, Kathryn and Abby.

On our way home, we stopped in Little Rock. Caleb and I spent a fun day with Caddy, a great friend of mine, and her precious little boy Will. They had such a great time and sure wish we lived closer. We watched the LSU game inside while Daddy was at the stadium. Emma Kate held a sitting position all by herself and quite proud evidenced by her big smile. I just love this "froggy" sit.

Caleb's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Caleb's birthday with his friends at Fun City. Caleb runs nonstop these days and this was the perfect place to do that.
His train cupcakes turned out so cute so go along with everyone's conductor hats.

He had fun spinning the big wheel.
He played shy while everyone sang to him but perked right up when it was time to blow out his candles and have some cake.
All of his friends enjoyed his favorite food pizza and lemonade.
Emma Kate made her way through several arms and was a happy girl too.
Not only did he have choo choo trains on his cake but his favorite was a Percy train that he has slept with since. His friends brought peanut butter for a special donation to Second Mile Ministry.

Pumpkin Toes

During our latest painting session, we let Emma participate.
Her little feet became pumpkins. Caleb helped with the grass and did some of his own.
Ta da! Look who made circle with his pumpkins!
Emma's happy face...we are blessed to see it so often.

Fall Fun

We made it to all Fayetteville games this year. I got my share of sympathy looks and offers for help caring bags and both children by myself to the games, but it was worth it. We enjoyed the season and even got to tailgate with our football buddies a little bit.
Here is Caleb trying to keep both girls happy and doing a good job.
I'm sure he'll be taking care of these two for years to come.
Meeting a new face
Caleb celebrated a friend's third birthday at the corn maze
and enjoyed riding the cow train.
It was a very snug ride, but Daddy went too.
I laughed for a long time after seeing this picture and
smiled being reminded of the lengths he goes to for our sweet boy.

If Caleb likes to make "telescopes" now, he is in for a big treat when he gets to play with Daddy's big one. Fun nights ahead.
It's all about football these days even if it's in the yard.
He's fond of the tall grass as it cooperates well as a tee.

Pumpkin Fun

This year we carved our pumpkin for Emma. We had done the same for Caleb but wondered if she would be quite as happy to be sitting in the middle of a pumpkin. To my surprise, she was delighted even though much smaller than Caleb was at the time.

Treat or Treat!

Dressing up and trick or treating was so much fun for Caleb this year.
The neighborhood was full of kids and we were in the middle of it.
All grins for Daddy

Miss Emma Kate was the sweetest little ladybug!

Sweet gorilla loving on his little ladybug
Off to see the neighbors

Blake and Aubrey showed Caleb how it was done
and then excitedly went to each door saying "Treat or Treat!"
We went for hours in the neighborhood and even took a ride on a friend's trailer. We missed this year's fall festival at church because of sickness but made up for it with a fun-filled night in the neighborhood.
