On the way home

On the way home from the beach, we couldn't miss an opportunity to see this fun crew. A lunch with family was the perfect ending to our vacation.

And this is the way Miss Emma Kate likes to travel!

Aboard the USS Alabama

It's always hard to say goodbye to the ocean waves and beautiful white sand.

On our way home we stopped for a couple hours in Mobile to explore the USS Alabama. We pass "the big boat" each year going to and from the beach, so Caleb was excited to stop and see it.
The abundance of climbing was a bit much for Emma (and me at times) as Matt carried her down each set, but we found all of the different rooms very interesting.

A little boy's dream!

I sure make this boat look good!

My three babies!

We stayed in Little Rock with Grandma on the way back and couldn't miss an opportunity to have lunch at one of our favorite places before driving to Fayetteville Sunday afternoon.

Bye Bye White Sand...Until Next Time

The Johnson National Seashore was a wonderful place for pictures recommended by another person staying at the condo. It definitely provided the best beach pictures we've ever taken.
My little beach baby

Ta-da! I don't know where she gets it!
Emma Katherine was especially full of sweet smiles this evening.

I even got some pictures with my favorite guy!
 34 weeks pregnant
I told Matt I would like to come here for the rest of my preggo belly shots for the few weeks to come!
This sweet guy is always up for giving Clayton a hug.
Emma and Gabriel were best buddies the entire trip. She always wanted to know where he was.

Living On Beach Time

I sure enjoy a week of living on beach time. It is such a good excuse to slow down and really enjoy spending time with each other. Man, the beach sure looks good on this guy!

My excited little girl and
my sweet little guy!

Emma Katherine prances on her tip toes everywhere she goes and the beach was no exception. Notice the hands!
I wasn't kidding about Matt being in the water the entire time with one or more kiddos.
I didn't go out quite as deep as my balance isn't the best even when I'm not pregnant but Friday was extremely calm making us all want to stay in the water. We traded in wave jumping for floating, swimming, and shell hunting. We stayed out all morning to enjoy our last day in the ocean.
And just when you think this sweet sleeping face couldn't be any cuter...
the next day she goes and pulls this picture perfect pose to capture my heart. I don't know what is sweeter, her clasped hands or being cuddled up on her favorite napping spot.
My idea of a perfect afternoon...kicked back watching the waves, amazing breeze blowing through the balcony, and a sweet snuggly little girl in my lap.
