Big Girl

Emma Katherine is growing way too fast. Not only is she prettier everyday, but she is changing. This week she graduated from the sink to her big girl tub. See what too much splashing in the sink can get you?!?

She loves it and Caleb likes a partner to play with in the tub. She can splash and play with her toys all she wants now!

She still likes all eyes on her and is quite vocal in her delight. She is also playing so much more. Caleb loves to give her toys and Emma loves that she can now reach them sitting on the floor. The jumperoo is still a favorite and boy can she go. I caught this after Caleb came to tell me "uh oh, Emma sleep."

Emma isn't the only one keeping smiles on our faces. Caleb's talking has really increased and we never know what he is going to say from in the morning "Mommy do you have your purse. Do you have your phone. Show me." to "Thank you Mommy. (your welcome) No thank YOU!" in the afternoon. He gives a sweet "nnnNo" with hands in the air or just completely changes the subject with finger to his head "hmmm...(lightbulb expression) I KNOW!"

One night he was playing with this nativity set still set up. Caleb puts his his finger in the air like one of his favorite shows and exclaims "Baby Jesus to the rescue!" I see the angel zooming, telling Mary not to cry, and Joseph riding in the big monster truck. 3 out of 4 isn't bad!

He's been taking advantage of the pretty afternoons to run in the yard and play football. However, even this active little boy wants to "hold you" in bed to read a story. Mommy can't resist the opportunity to get ahold of those curls and be cheek to cheek with such a sweet, amazing boy. I love me some Cah-beb!
