Emma Katherine is now eight months old. As I often said with Caleb, I would be so sad to watch her grow so quickly if each month wasn't even more fun and exciting.
She likes to be on her belly but prefers to roll everywhere as opposed to crawl. She has become more vocal carrying on a lengthy conversation of ba-ba-ba's. And if that wasn't sweet enough she'll flap her arms and smile at anyone who will adore her.
She is eating butternut squash, peas, oatmeal and applesauce. Now that she has the hang of it, she seems accepting of new foods.
Emma has plenty to entertain herself. Caleb is nonstop and she just stares at him constantly. We're excited that he is starting to use the potty. So don't think anything about it if you knock on the door only to find him bare from the waste down. You may also get a call about "big boy go potty" but catch the conversation quickly as the subject will be changed numerous times in the matter of seconds.
