Snow is one thing we have not had a shortage of this year. On Friday, our second snow day, we got out and made an entire day of playing in the snow. We trekked across the neighborhood to see neighbors and did some sledding.
This was a sweet note Caleb left our elf Chippy.
Of course little Emma Katherine talked everyone else into pulling her.
We had so much snow that even our driveway was fun. We put the sled Grandma got us to good use.
Our snowman building attempts weren't so great as our snow was too crumbly, but this snow covered stood up to make a good snow-mommy!
Our snow mound became a little snowman.
Clayton didn't do any playing in the snow but did come out briefly to see it.
Sunday morning was still too icy to make it to church, but by that afternoon we ventured out to Wilson Park in Fayetteville. Daddy went with Emma, Mommy and Caleb went together, and of course Caleb went many more times on his own. We've never come here for sledding but it will definitely be a must for next time.
I did enjoy being snowed in with this crew and their excitement about playing in the snow.
