Emma Katherine at 14 Months

Emma Katherine at 14 months is sweet, social and very vocal. Her top two teeth emerged on the same day which puts her count at four. She will use them to eat just about anything you put in front of her. She's walking all over the place, has started climbing and not very fond of being corrected of that. She stands from anywhere and takes off. She is very animated with her voice carrying on quite a babbling conversation. She will sign please and more which looks more like she is applauding herself.
This is the grin I come home to everyday. Lucky me!
The farther she goes, the more she beams.

She continues to get a little more hair on top and in the back. Emma Katherine loves her bows pointing to them in her room and 'bow' is proudly in her vocabulary. If something is not what she wants, Emma will shake her her head 'no' without hesitation. A favorite is her push toy that she maneuvers all over the house. She also enjoys her baby doll that laughs when pushed. Emma Katherine loves the bubble app on our phones as much as Caleb did. Holding anything in her hands is a quick distraction of what was troubling her to cry especially when it is something her big brother has brought. Caleb loves to act silly just to hear her squeal with excitement. He is so affectionate to her amid the not-so-intentional roughness.
She loves to sit whether it's on the ledge or climbing up in her little chair with legs dangling. Her favorite spot to sit is her daddy's criss-crossed lap and to watch her keep him seated is quite funny. Needless to say she doesn't give up her comfy spot easily.

Although she is doing quite a bit of walking, crawling is still her trusted method of getting where she wants to go.You have to keep an eye on her thing as this sneaky little monkey will start to climb on you! The bumps and bruises she has had so far are only the beginning.

After a lot of playing outside our tootsies need cleaning especially since she prefers not to wear shoes. The tiny little thing can still fit in the sink!
