Wrapping up August

During evening trips to the pool, Caleb has done some swimming without his buoy.

Caleb loves to talk about changes at church. At first he referred to it as his new church, then his new class, and last week he said, "it's just class." Seems like a sure sign he feels right at home!
Between the diaper, legs and mid-conversation hand gesture, this picture makes me smile. We decided it was time to take down the jump-a-roo since Emma now just walks around it and a little friend is going to get good use of it.  She did manage to sit her little self in the seat while it was on the floor. She's a funny girl!

A friend I used to work with no longer lives here and now watches these sweet little ones grow in pictures. She made the sweetest little hat with a pretty flower on it. She knows this little one well!

Caleb can be so sweet to Emma Katherine. I love to hear him reassuring her that she's okay, hear her squealing as he pushes her in the Cozy Coupe, or see them actually starting to play together. "Ahh, Emma don't cry, it's okay, you'll be alright, I'm right here" is enough to melt my heart.
