| We geared up for the first football game by attending the Friday night pep rally. Caleb loved watching the band, but became shy when asked to lead the band with the director. Emma Katherine was anything but shy. She quickly learned how to raise her hands to call the hogs and so please everyone smiled when she did. |

| We went fully equipped to cheer. |

| Matt and Emma Katherine stayed up on the hill to watch, but I took Caleb down in the middle of the pep rally fun. He loved being so close to Big Red but still didn't want to give him a high five. |

| Saturday's game was fun and Caleb looked like he should be on the field with his black out stickers. |

| Her little shirt may have said rookie on the back, but she knew just what to do when the music played. |
