Our baby girl is a month old. It will be fun to watch her grow and change each month as she grows into the white dress that now swallows her. Emma has been smiling from the very beginning but has now
added some sweet sounds to her smiles. She holds her gaze on faces, likes her legs outstretched, and her hands are either by her face or straight up in true "praise Jesus" form. She amazes others by the sound level she can sleep through including several parties, a couple fireworks shows, and a baseball game. She enjoys the carseat which is a good thing with as many walks and just getting out of the house as we've done. So far she has kept her little head of hair, prefers sleeping on her side, eats every 4-5 hours, and likes her pacifier. She sleeps well with a tight swaddle even though she really wants those little hands out and calms right down with her heat pack. She is almost always inclined to help her tummy trouble and hopefully will grow out of the reflux stage quickly. Of course our favorite is her smile. She had a smile on her face in the hospital and shows it off frequently now. When sleeping or just after eating, words of a good friend come to mind when Emma Kate smiles...Simply precious!
