It was a hot evening, but a burn ban didn't keep these kiddos from having a great time on the fourth! Our neighbors set up a bounce house with water and a pool to keep them all cool.
Emma Katherine observed the water fun and could still wear a sweet outfit she wore last year.
Of course everyone brought lots of yummy food.

Earlier that day, we put a patriotic spin on our rice krispy treats.
Although we couldn't do our own fireworks because of a burn ban, we could see the mall (where Matt was working), country club, and ball park fireworks from the end of our street. It was a certainly a day of celebration. God bless our country!
