Birthday Girl

Emma Katherine sure was a happy girl to be dressed up for her birthday.

She proudly smiled so we could see her two little teeth.

With her squeals, she was sure to let us know whose day it was.

Her birthday bow from Aunt Rachael and ruffle bloomers were too cute!

She was impressed with the bows on the presents but still more interested in all of the people smiling and talking to her. She loves an audience!

And if the pictures weren't fun enough, then we brought out a cake!

This was her first day for sweets but she dove in like a pro.

Emma Katherine is standing and letting go some. She sure did this to get a better view of the cake and have both hands free.

We are so blessed to have Miss Emma Katherine apart of our family.

This funny expression really captures her personality. She sure does keep us laughing.

She was even sweet enough to share her cake with Mommy.

but Mommy wanted kisses sweeter than cake.

We had a house completely full for the weekend...all here to celebrate this special little girl, all of her firsts and the sweet little person she is becoming.
Our prayer for Emma Katherine before she was here, the day she arrived and everyday since has been Colossions 1:9-12. And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
