Sunday morning was rainy but gave us an excuse head to the Naval Aviation Museum at Pensacola NAS. Second only to the Smithsonian, this was definitely a favorite with such a heavily stocked museum as they claim to have one of every type of aircraft ever used in the US Navy.

The displays of Blue Angel jets were very impressive and we made plans to come back for a early morning practice.

Climbing in several cockpits was definitely a highlight for Caleb. We even found an air intake for Emma to climb

Isn't it a neat museum? Looks like a fun day! Perfect when it is rainy. Sometime when you are feeling brave, check out the lighthouse down the road. It is a hike to the top but my kids still talk about it.
