Memorial Day...just the beginning of a great week

On Memorial Day Rachael Gracie and Weston came to visit for the week. We spent the first couple evenings at the pool. Despite a house full of kiddos and a week full of activities, I can always count on a nice relaxing week when they come to visit.
Gracie sported her goggles and one of our big noodles to complete her yellow polkadot bikini.
Emma sported a cute bow and enjoyed spectating from the side as much as swimming.
Weston had his first dip in the pool and loved it!

Oh Miss Emma Kate! That is quite a bit of sass on your face!
Precious little pool bum
until she realized mom wasn't around.

Peek-a-boo!
It was so fun to watch the kiddos play.

The next morning, Rachael took Weston to see Emma when she woke. After making sure he had his passy (and pulling it out a few times) they had a crib party.

We walked the trail at Lake Fayetteville from one playground to another.

Emma was determined to swing despite it being too tall for her to reach. My lap was a distant second to what she wanted but it worked.
Had I left Caleb here, he would still be in this very spot throwing rocks into the lake.
We had to come back to enjoy a picnic and playing on the playground before some shopping and a  field trip to watch a pet groomer. I'm not sure why Caleb's face has a frown as it was PB&J, his favorite. Maybe because he was ready to play.
