| We celebrated Emma Katherine's second birthday Monday morning at our neighborhood pool. When I think of her radiant smile and vibrant personality that she has added to our family, she is definitely our little sunshine. |

| She is often caught pulling at her canine teeth that just started to pop through yesterday, but hasn't let a little pain hold her back. |

| You can tell by our rosy cheeks that it was a hot day. The pool is definitely the place to be when it is in triple digits! |

| I could not have been prouder of Caleb. He was such a great big brother not jealous one bit and genuinely excited for Emma. He helped serve lemonade to everyone. |

| eating a couple pieces of pa-zaaaa (pizza) on her own, and finally getting one of the cupcakes she had been begging for since seeing them the night before. |

| After everyone sang, she attempted to blow out her two candles but had offers for help. |

| It was lots of yellow from the yellow beach balls and balloons to the pretty flower in her hair. She enjoyed every bit of the cake, swimming, and the friends that could join her. I'm so glad this was a special day for her. |
