Our First Rodeo

Wednesday afternoon we headed down to Emma Street to watch the rodeo parade. Fire engines, big trucks, and horses...what more could these two want!?!

That evening it was dinner at one of our favorite patios.

Although we've enjoyed the parade many times, we've never actually attended the Rodeo of the Ozarks. It's acclaimed as being one of the top in the nation, so we decided to check it out.
So this definitely was our first rodeo!

Before it started we watched the horses warm up and the mutton busting.
Emma Katherine was all giggles and smiles

 especially watching from Daddy's lap.
Emma Katherine gave out before it was over, but Caleb held on to see the bull riding. He had been waiting all night to see the big bulls and wasn't going to miss it.

What do you do when you have so much fun at the parade? You go to the second parade after the rodeo! Saturday morning we got up and headed straight to the parade.

Emma Katherine participated from the side putting on quite the production with her own flag.

This doesn't look like a happy face, but it sure was. She wanted to catch a lollipop so badly and is giving you her loudest "cheese" while holding it in her mouth.
After the parade, we caught lots of action at the Springdale Airport as many planes had flown in for the parade.
